Update: I've started working on a new level. It is the top rated level idea on my uservoice page: River Dam. If you have an idea for the game, please submit it at my uservoice site:http://simplephysics.uservoice.comThe sequel to BridgeBasher is…..
Rated 4/5 based on 3 customer reviews.
The app is great but it needs more levels, so far so good though.
Excellent fun for anyone who enjoyed building popsicle-stick bridges as a kid!
All the levels are passable, but only if you've got the engineering intuition! Please don't mistake the negative reviews folks have left for this game as a sign that the game is buggy or incomplete -- it's far from it! All the levels are challenging, and there are probably a lot of folks who weren't sure what they were getting into when they bought this game. If you think of things like Doodle Jump and Angry Birds when you think of iOS games, then you might consider this more of a structural engineering simulator than a game. For the right kind of nerd, though, this game is awesome!
One last mentionable: Andrew, the developer, has been putting an incredible amount of work into this game since its release. He still has a full-time job and a new baby to take care of, yet he's nearly doubled the content the game shipped with in just over a month! He even added native ipad support, which most devs charge extra for.
Support this guy! Even if the game isn't something you'd normally buy, supporting this sort of indie development is good for everyone!
It is very addicting especially if you're tryin to beat the leader boards. The developer is great too! He has already listened to, and implemented some of the ideas from users. Check it out! Its great!
It just keeps getting better! The updates come regularly, and now he added universal support. Not a separate purchase. Great move!
